2026 Concord NH Winter Fest

The Hotel Concord and Intown Concord are thrilled to announce the return of Concord NH Winter Fest presented by Breezeline now in its eighth year!

Join us on Saturday, January 24, from 11 AM to 4 PM in front of the NH State House for a jaw-dropping ice-carving competition featuring some of New England’s most talented sculptors. Then enjoy delicious food from a variety of top-notch food trucks, bringing an array of local flavors to warm up your Winter Fest adventure. 

Please note, this is an outdoor event, so come dressed for the winter weather. It will be cold. This year, we’ll only be hosting food trucks and interested event sponsors.

New this year will be an Ice Bar hosted by Arts Alley! Open only for Winter Fest Weekend: Friday from 4:30-9 pm, and Saturday from 12-8 pm. The diner will be open with additional beverages and bites for purchase. Plus, they'll be giving away Suncruiser swag both days! And don't forget to snap a pic in front of the chair lift photo op!

Before the event

Friday, January 23, at The State House- Sponsored ice carving preview from 3-9 PM. Ice bar in the Courtyard at Arts Alley (20 S. Main St) from 4:30-9:00 pm.

Event Schedule - Jan. 24th

NH STATE HOUSE


11:00 AM - Ice carving competition starts on The State House Lawn and food trucks open. Food trucks include: Batulo's Kitchen, Bubble Bee Milk Tea, Cali Arepa, Canterbury Kettle Corn, Carly's Kitchen, Nothing Bundt Cakes, Straws+, Sugar Tang, and Wicked Tasty Food Truck.

11:00 AM-1:00 PM - Join Darbster Dog at Candletree Soy Candles at 44 N Main St. to meet adoptable dogs!

11:00 AM- 2:00 PM- Hot Cocoa Tour (SOLD OUT). Meet at the diner at Arts Alley to pick up your mug and passport! Stops include Totally Tea + Coffee (formerly Teatotaller), the Bean & Bakery, and Gibson’s Cafe.

Noon-2:00 PM - FREE try-it curling with NH Scot in front of The State House. Try your hand at one of Scotland's oldest and coolest sports!  Canceled due to cold temps. They will be attending a future First Friday instead. 

11:00 AM-2:00 PM - Join the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center and the Concord Monitor to learn more about the 40th anniversary of the Challenger launch. The Monitor will be handing out free copies of  the special edition 40th anniversary Challenger newspaper. The Discovery Center will share about the Challenger Memorial Event Series, along with a demonstration of one of Christa's Lost Lessons, Liquids in Microgravity, and if there are clear skies, they will be doing solar viewing as well. 

11:00 AM-4:00 PM - Take a swing at something new, try axe throwing with RAM Axe Throwing. Stop by the trailer on Capitol St. to purchase your throws and take aim! New cold weather price- 5 throws for $5. 

12:00-1:00 PM - Join the YMCA on City Plaza for a FREE circuit workout with Corey! Pop in to try one of the rotations or stick around for the full class!

12:00-1:00 PM - Free Cookie Decorating at the Concord Food Co-o. Pop in the Concord Co-op for lunch from their hot bar and enjoy FREE cookie decorating in the cafe! 

12:00 - 2:00 PM - Free s'mores to roast on City Plaza, courtesy of sponsors: Granite State Candy Shoppe & the Concord Food Co-op. While supplies last! 

12:00-8:00 PM - Stop by the Ice Bar in the Courtyard at Arts Alley (20 S. Main St) to grab a drink! Open for Winter Fest weekend only!

1:00-4:00 PM - Free Wine Tasting at Wine on Main.  Ambra from Stonefence Beverages will be there for a free tasting featuring 4 new wines from around the world. The store will be open for regular shopping from 11-5 pm as well.

3:00-5:00 PM - Free live music from the Wandering Souls and Jake Alden at DIY Craft & Thrift, 46 N Main St.

3:00 PM - Ice carving competition ends

3:15-3:30 PM - Awards announcement

4:00 PM - Festival Ends

DOWNTOWN CONCORD

10:30 AM - Red River presents the animated adventure Balto (1995) rated G- Based on an incredible true story, Balto is a dazzling animated adventure about one of the most courageous canines of all time. Part husky and part wolf, Balto isn't sure where he belongs in the wilds of Alaska. Tickets are just $5 and include a hot chocolate. SOLD OUT!
