Experience Downtown Concord's Art Walk at November's First Friday from 4 pm to 8 pm! Immerse yourself in a vibrant evening of art, culture, and community as our downtown streets come alive with creativity. Local businesses and nonprofits unite to showcase a diverse array of artworks, from paintings to sculptures. 

Engage with artists, enjoy live music, dine, and shop! It's the perfect way to spend a Friday night and celebrate the thriving arts scene in Concord. Join us on November's First Friday and be part of this cultural celebration!

Bank of NH Stage (16 S. Main)- Immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Saad Hindal, an Iraqi artist whose unique vision comes to life through a rich palette of colors. Experience Saad Hindal's captivating interpretation of Concord and its diverse community at the Bank of New Hampshire Stage, where his newly completed mural embodies the essence of our beloved city. Saad will also have pieces of his work for sale.

Don't miss the opportunity to savor authentic Somali flavors from Batulo's Kitchen, open during the event. Following the Art Walk, catch the show "Dead Letter Office - A Tribute to R.E.M." kicking off at 8 pm at the Capitol Center for the Arts. Reserve your tickets here.

Concord Community Music School (23 Wall St)- Concord Community Music School welcomes you to its Faculty Showcase Recital at 7pm in its Recital Hall. The concert will be packed with an exciting range of music, from Bach to Chopin and from Folk to Blues. This evening is a great way to learn about the musical passions of our acclaimed teaching artists, who frequently perform on local, regional, and national stages. This event is free of charge.

NH Art Association/Queerlective Artist Pop Up (49 S. Main St, Chamber office)- The NH Art Association is pleased to announce Magical Realism featuring work from artist William Turner, on view at The Greater Concord Chamber of Commerce. This toy-inspired collection captures the imagined lives of toys and invites viewers to immerse themselves in the the fun of their stories. Turner's eccentric paintings showcase vintage toys playfully interacting with each other and the real world, offering a fresh perspective on toy nostalgia and seamlessly weaving in references to pop culture.  

Queerlective- Queerlective seeks to create and promote inclusive environments for the queer, BIPOC and underserved communities with a focus on utilizing art for personal and community growth.

DIY Craft and Thrift (46 North Main Street)- From 11am to 8pm, DIY Craft and Thrift will have a free coloring & doodle station available for everyone to make art at; Crayons/Pencils and paper provided, so come on in after being inspired by all the art you'll be seeing!

League of New Hampshire Craftsmen (49 S. Main St)- The League and the NH Furniture Masters will offer light refreshments and a chance to view the "Connecting Through Craft" exhibition in the League's Gallery. This exhibition features collaborative work inspired by meaningful conversations and studio visits between members of the League of NH Craftsmen and NH Furniture Masters.

“Love” Mural by James Chase (169 Storrs St)- New Hampshire artist, James Chase, who is well-known for creating colorful geometric murals throughout New England, created a stunning work of art in Concord. This mural is located in a stairwell that connects North Main and Storrs streets, adjacent to Loudon Road. Click here for more information.

Penumbra (10 N. State St)-Experience the magic of creative expression at Penumbra during the First Friday Art Walk. Join them for a captivating showcase featuring two talented artists, Meadows Madsen, a skilled potter from Kimball Jenkins, and Heidi Pauer of Kind Finds, as they bring their artistry to life through live demonstrations. Meadows and Alison will be mesmerizing audiences with their pottery throwing on a wheel, while Heidi will be crafting stunning jewelry pieces. Take the opportunity to explore and purchase their exceptional goods, adding a touch of artistic flair to your collection. 

Pillar Gallery Projects (205 N. State St)- PILLAR Gallery + Projects is a new gallery space in Concord. They opened in September with our inaugural exhibition, Flora & Fauna, which explores a diverse range of interpretations of regional foliage, as well as more eccentric and imagined plant-life or organic forms. The exhibition features work by nine artists across the Northeast, and includes sculpture, paintings, drawings, ceramic and scanography work. Pompanoosuc Mills (38 N. Main St)- Pompanoosuc Mills is thrilled to welcome you to their showroom, where three of their featured artists will be in attendance, along with a captivating collection of their works available for purchase. Join them for a delightful evening filled with art, conversation, light refreshments, and the opportunity to bring home a piece of artistic inspiration.

In addition to these wonderful artists, our showroom proudly features works by William McLane, Melissa Miller, Tanya Lee Hayes, Marcia Crumley, Elsa Voekle, Cecily Herzig, Maria Markova, and Catherine Tuttle.

Sharing Yoga (51 S Main St )- Join us for Kirtan - Live Music & Sanskrit Chanting. Kirtan is a simple and powerful experience. Live music with Sanskrit chanting call-and-response style. 
The singing and vibration connects us to our hearts and the moment through sound. It’s a beautiful and joyful community experience. Kirtan brings people together, connects us, and grounds us in the moment. No singing experience needed. Come join in the collective voice or just listen and enjoy the energy and vibration. This session takes place at 7 pm and is free to attend. 

Spruce Home & Company (32 N Main St)

Viking House (19 N. Main St)- Mike Driscoll from Deerfield will be painting, chatting with customers, and selling his work.

Wine on Main (9 N. Main St)- Visit Wine on Main for a FREE wine tasting from 5-7pm featuring new wines from around the world.  In honor of "Art Walk," we will also have Lisa Devos from La Mia Mano Jewelry here with some of her new pieces.  Lisa makes beautiful pieces from gemstones, Venetian glass, agate, leather, wooden beads, and more that she collects in her travels.  Everything is handmade, stunning, and affordable with prices starting at $15.
