April's theme is GO GREEN CONCORD!

Intown Concord and the City of Concord present First Friday, a monthly community event that brings together the people of downtown Concord for a fun-filled evening. On the first Friday of every month, businesses are encouraged to stay open late and add some excitement to the night by offering sales, giveaways, workshops, and other activities that are sure to draw in customers. 

This event is a great opportunity for the community to come together and support local businesses while enjoying a night out on the town. Whether you're looking for a great deal on some new clothes, a fun activity to do with friends, or just a chance to explore the downtown area, First Friday has something for everyone.

Ryan Williamson Music - LOCATION CHANGE! NH Music Collective presents Ryan Williamson live at Social Club Creamery (138 N Main St) in Concord! Ryan is a master at using a loop station in his live shows to add layers of guitar, vocals, and percussion that he manipulates with his feet, making it sound more like a full band than a solo act. He plays more than 150 gigs a year across northern New England, showcasing his arrangements of popular tunes, new and old, as well as his original music. Ryan has been voted 1st Runner Up multiple times as “Best Local Solo Performer” by the Hippo Press.

Music in Bicentennial Square - Pop by Bicentennial Square from 5:30 - 7:30 to enjoy music from the Wandering Souls Band!

Concord Community Music School (23 Wall St, Concord) - Andrew North and the Rangers will be having a fundraiser/album release party at Concord Community Music School starting at 7:30 PM. Admission is free; donations appreciated.

Wicked Tasty Food Truck (Main St) - A twist on New England classics!

Bubble Bee Milk Tea (Bicentennial Sq) - Bubble tea and dumplings!

Sharing Yoga (51 S Main St) - 7 pm yoga class with live music. REDUCE your stress! A gentle and relaxing yoga class will focus on reducing physical and mental tension, allowing your body to recycle and reuse its energy reserves. REUSE your old yoga mat! Bring your old mat, we will donate it to the SPCA and give you 20% off a new in-stock yoga mat. RECYCLE your old books! Bring a book to swap and take a used one home!

Worthy Mind & Movement (8 N Main St #1B) - First Friday Flow & Glow (Ages 11-Adult) Join us for an all-levels yoga class at 5:30 p.m. underneath the blacklights. By popular request, we are opening this class up to ages 11+ - making it a perfect opportunity for parent-and-me bonding or to bring your yoga-loving niece along. Glow paint and bracelets will be provided. As part of this month's First Friday GO GREEN CONCORD! theme, we will give a free limited-edition Worthy water-bottle sticker to anyone who brings in a reusable water bottle. Wine on Main (9 N Main St) - Join us for a FREE wine tasting with Ambra from Crush Distributors from 5-7pm. In honor of the "Go Green Concord" theme, we will be featuring delicious organic and natural wines from around the world.

Tanglewood Hollow (93 Storrs St) - RESCHEDULED!! Stay Tuned For Updates! Community Clean Up! We will meet at Tanglewood Hollow at 5pm to venture around town and do a community clean up! This is the time of year where we need to keep our city green spaces green! We will provide some grabber tools, gloves, and trash bags! How many pounds of trash do you think we can collect? We will meet back at Tanglewood Hollow at 6:30 to weigh our garbage clean up!

Concord Art Works (46 N Main St)  - This new Concord Art Community will be out in full force; come see the new Gallery and art space, learn about our classes and sessions, and get ready for a new Paint and Sip center in Concord! Market from 4-8 pm but the space is open before!

Concord Makerspace (197 N. Main Street, Boscawen) - Open House from 5-8 pm. Concord Makerspace is a membership-based community workshop featuring a well-appointed wood shop, a large CNC Machine, and an assortment of 3-D Printers and Laser Cutters.
